Shine bright – like a stop sign.

This fall, red seems to be the color of the season. While I usually prefer pink to red (anything from a soft blush to a deep magenta), there’s something classic and feminine to red. This suit (that I actually bought on sale recently) is perfect for the office – not too bright and with a classic, tailored fit that balances out the feminine color.

Red generally is a pretty difficult color to pair with others. I personally don’t like red with black, it just feels to harsh and has to much of a moulin rouge vibe to it. Instead, my favorite combo is red with nude, so I picked my classic nude Pigalle pumps with their red soles plus this cute nude blouse with some red flowers on it, which brings a bit of vintage-feminine into the whole look – as do these earrings. When I’m out and about, I also love to pair red with bright pink or orange. A bit more daring, but it works surprisingly well!

Suit: Claudie Pierlot (sale, also comes in blush pink) / Top: Zara / Pumps: Louboutin / Earrings: Amber Sceats / Bag: Céline
