    • Happy Women‘s Day 💞 I am grateful to live in a country where, while not everything is perfect, women have the opportunity to choose their own path and go as far as becoming our national leader. I am lucky to have a wonderful husband who treats me respectfully, who loves and appreciates strong women, who shares household chores with me so that we can both focus on our careers while having each other‘s back. I am grateful to my parents who raised me to believe I can do anything I want if I just work hard for it, independent of my gender. This day, to me, is not about celebrating ourselves. It is a reminder that, on a worldwide level, we are very far from equality. Let‘s continue pushing for and demanding solutions - for ourselves, yes, but even more so for all the girls and women out there suffering suppression, domestic violence, sexual harassment, human rights violations and more. #internationalwomensday #internationalwomensday2019 #herestostrongwomen #goladies
